Coach Hwang Sun-hong continued attacking soccer by deploying three attackers, Lee Kang-in, Eom Won-sang and Jung Woo-young, in the second half of the game with a 2-0 lead, but no additional goals were scored.
The national soccer team, which beat China 2-0 with the one-sided support of 50,000 spectators, will play Uzbekistan in the semifinals at 9 p.m. on the 4th.
North Korea lost 2-1 to Japan and failed to advance to the semifinals.
The men’s soccer semifinals of this tournament will be held between Korea-Uzbekistan and Japan-Hong Kong.
