Doosan→NC→KT→Lotte… 35-year-old release pitcher, new start at KIA 

The KIA Tigers have reinforced their strength by recruiting three players to be released.

The KIA Tigers announced on the 11th that they had recruited invincible pitchers Kim Kon-guk (35) and Kim Seung-hyeon (31) and infielder Kim Yong-wan (20).

After graduating from Hanseo Elementary School, Cheongryang Middle School, and Deoksu High School, he joined Doosan in 2006 and played in 88 games in 5 seasons through NC, KT and Lotte, recording an average ERA of 4.57 with 7 wins, 5 losses and 4 holds. 메이저사이트

Kim Seung-hyun, who graduated from Noam Elementary School – Gyeongpo Middle School – Gangneung High School – Konkuk University, joined Samsung in 2016 and played in 91 games in 5 seasons, recording an average ERA of 5.51 with 2 wins, 8 losses and 4 holds. 

After graduating from Pyeongchon Elementary School – Pyeongchon Middle School – Ansan Technical High School, Kim Yong-wan joined Lotte in 2022 and participated in 76 Futures League games without a first-team record, recording a batting average of 2.3 0.6, 39 hits and 14 RBIs.

A KIA official said, “Kim Kon-guk and Kim Seung-hyun are resources that can be used as a middle ground and were recruited to strengthen depth. Kim Yong-wan is a young and quick-footed infield utility resource, and we expect that it will be widely used in the future.”

Kim Seung-hyun has been training at Hampyeong Challengers Field since the 3rd. Kim Kon-guk will join the team on the 16th and Kim Yong-wan will start training on the 1st of next month.
