According to Vietnamese media outlets such as VN Express, director Park received the foreign director award at the Victory Cup awards ceremony held in Hanoi, Vietnam on the 11th. The awards ceremony is organized by the Vietnam Sports Authority.
Coach Park was named the recipient of the award, beating coach Gil-tae Kim of the Vietnamese national taekwondo team.
