Mariano Rivera (54), a legend of American professional baseball’s Major League Baseball (MLB) closer, will take the mound as the first pitcher at the World Baseball Classic (WBC) in March.
Citing a tournament official, 먹튀검증 Taiwan Central News Agency reported on the 22nd that Rivera would pitch as the first pitcher in the first round of the first round of the WBC finals between her home country Panama and Taiwan.
Taiwan, Cuba, Panama, the Netherlands, and Italy are drawn in Group A of the WBC and will play the first round of the finals from March 8 to 12 at the Intercontinental Stadium in Taichung, Taiwan.
The game between Panama and Chinese Taipei, where Rivera throws the first pitch, will be held on March 8 at 8pm.
Rivera will leave autographs on the ballpark and attend several charity events during the tournament.

The 1st and 2nd place countries in Group A will compete against the 1st and 2nd place countries in Group B, where Korea, Japan, Australia, China and the Czech Republic compete, in the WBC quarterfinals on March 15-16 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan
