The LG Twins have finally made a new history in their final home games. This season alone attracted 1,397,499 home spectators, setting a new record for the largest number of home spectators in a single season in the KBO League.

The LG Twins played a home game against the Kiwoom Heroes of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 26th, and 21,593 spectators entered. The sell-out failed as it was just short of the full 23,750 seats.

As a result, LG mobilized 1,397,499 spectators for home games in the 2024 season and recorded an average of 19,144 spectators per game. The 1,397,499 LG left is a new KBO league record for the most spectators in a single season, exceeding the 1,3818 of the Lotte Giants in 2009.

Earlier on the 21st, LG surpassed 1.3 million home spectators for the first time at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in a home game against the Doosan Bears, and sold out a total of 25 times, surpassing the club’s record of 16 sold out in a season in 2012. First of all, LG encouraged young people to increase their interest by continuously promoting the club’s cheering culture, food, and goods through collaboration with movies, entertainment programs, and YouTube to attract young fans, as well as establishing summer-specific events such as “Summer Christmas” and “Summer Holic” to increase the number of spectators during this unusually hot summer off-season.

In addition to the baseball stadium, events were held to promote baseball and club brands, and activities were conducted to attract potential customers to the baseball stadium.
