“Son Heung-min is the best human being.” Tottenham vice-captain congratulates Captain SON on his 32nd birthday → “I love you terribly.”

Tottenham Hotspur vice-captain James Maddison celebrated Son’s 32nd birthday.

Madison sent a congratulatory message to Son Heung-min, who celebrated his birthday on his social network service (SNS) on the 8th (Korea Standard Time).

Tottenham Hotspur F.C. started the summer pre-season and prepared balloons for Son’s birthday. The team also had interviews with Tottenham players, including Madison, to send a happy birthday message to Son when they came to work for training.

Madison, one of Son’s closest associates, also celebrated Son’s 32nd birthday. Afterwards, he sent a message to Son on his Instagram account, saying, “Like I said, ‘I love you so terribly.’ He also praised Son’s performance, saying, “He is younger, superior, and sharp 32 years old.”

He also praised Son’s personal charm, saying he is “the best human being” while posting a picture with Son.

English midfielder Madison left Leicester City to move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of last year. Having played for Leicester City since 2018, he has played in 203 matches, scoring 55 goals and 41 assists, and has been classified as a proven midfielder in the Premier League.
Madison, who has strong kick power from his sharp right foot, scored 10 goals and nine assists in the 2022-23 season despite Leicester’s relegation to 18th place in the league. He truly showed the side of military discipline.

When Leicester was relegated to the second division of the English Championship, Tottenham immediately sought to recruit Madison. Madison also wanted to continue playing in the Premier League, and as Tottenham paid Leicester 40 million pounds (about 71 billion won) in transfer fees, Madison wore a Tottenham uniform.

Madison has been recognized as a key player as he quickly adapted to the new team. Ahead of the opening of the season, Tottenham showed strong trust by appointing Madison as vice-captain to assist captain Son Heung-min along with Argentine defender Christian Romero.

Madison, who became Tottenham’s vice captain, immediately played in line with expectations and led the team’s attack with captain Son Heung-min.

Prior to being ruled out in the first half due to an ankle injury in November last year, he had three goals and five assists in 11 league matches, serving as a key midfielder for Tottenham. Notably, he had one goal and two assists during the month of August, receiving the Premier League Player of the Month award in August.

In particular, Madison not only became a close relationship with Son Heung-min but also led Tottenham’s attack together by showing good chemistry. The scene where Son Heung-min scores a goal and performs a “click ceremony” together, and on the contrary, if Madison scores a goal, a “dart ceremony” together became a hot topic among fans.

However, his performance deteriorated significantly after leaving the team for a long time due to an ankle injury, recording only one goal and four assists in 17 matches in the second half of the league. Due to poor performance, he was excluded from the English national team and could not participate in the UEFA 2024 European Championship.

Madison, who showed a disappointing performance in the second half, joined Son Heung-min in the pre-season and began dipping to perform better next season. 룸알바
