Regarding his personal goals, he said, “I don’t set any goal where I should be. Just imagine if you scored 10 goals in six matches and your goal is over. You won’t feel it’s enough. I want to push as much as possible,” adding, “I want to go as high as possible in every aspect, whether it be a team or individual. Then you will see where we have reached.”
Son also expressed his feelings about wearing the captain’s armband last season. Son said, “It was a good experience. I learned a lot over the past year. Being the captain of a Premier League team entails a lot of responsibilities. I am still learning. It is not easy, but it is a good thing, and it is very important.”
“I’m not the most talkative person in the team, but if I have to be talkative, I’m willing to do that,” he said. “I want to set a good example with good behavior. Since we have a lot of young players on our team, if I do the right thing as the captain, the players will do the same,” he said.
