Lotte Releases ‘Seven’ to Reform…We’re off to find a new team, including veteran sidearm Shin Jung-rak

The professional baseball Lotte Giants sent out seven players, including veteran sidearm pitcher Shin Jung-rak (37).

Lotte said on the 21st, “Pitchers Shin Jung-rak and Park Myung-hyun, infielder Ko Kyung-pyo, outfielder Ki Min-sung, and utility resource Choi Jong-eun released catchers Jung Jae-hwan and Min Sung-woo.”

Shin Jung-rak joined the LG Twins as the No. 1 overall pick in the first round of the 2010 rookie draft, and joined Lotte last year after passing through the Hanwha Eagles. 메이저놀이터

In the first team alone, he played a total of 347 games, recording 27 wins, 26 losses, 11 saves, and 32 holds.

He played 9-5 with a 4.26 ERA for LG in 2013, and had a solid performance with a 5.34 ERA with 3-5 wins, 10 saves and 12 holds in 2017.

He wore a Hanwha uniform in 2019 as a trade with Song Eun-beom (current Samsung Lions), and showed off his strong performance in 44 games in 2022, with a record of 2-1 with 1 save and 4 holds with an ERA of 4.02.

However, Shin Jung-rak couldn’t overcome Hanwha’s intense rebuilding storm and immediately signed with Lotte after suffering the pain of release in October of that year.

Shin Jung-rak played in 34 games with Lotte last year and played his part with a 4.66 ERA with four wins and one hold, but he has never played in a first-team game this year.

In the Futures League, he played in 18 games with three losses and six holds with a 2.18 ERA.
