A KIA official said on the 3rd, “Nail focused on recovery at home after being discharged from the hospital last week, and she was highly motivated to move. The hospital also said that light exercise is okay, so we conducted indoor training from today (3rd).”
Nail suffered a major injury in a showdown with the NC Dinos in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank 메이저사이트 KBO League at Changwon NC Park on the 24th of last month. He pitched scoreless until the 5th inning and faced leadoff hitter Matt Davison on the mound in the bottom of the 6th inning, when Davison’s ball flew toward Nail’s right-footed jaw.

KIA moved quickly after Nail got a serious injury. It recruited Eric Stout, who used to play for the Zhongxin Brothers of Taiwan, as a short-term substitute for Nail. The deal was worth 45,000 U.S. dollars.
Stout also worried about Nail’s injury at the meeting with the team. “I want to show my fans how to help the team win as much as possible. I hope Nail can recover from her injury and come back soon. I will pour everything I have and try to win the team,” he said.
Stout will not be able to play in the postseason because he joined Kia after Aug. 15. It is the best for Kia to have their nails done in good health as soon as possible.
