“I’m evil” British neonatal nurse kills 7 babies

A British nurse is shocked to be found guilty of 메이저사이트murdering seven babies and attempting to kill six others at the hospital where she worked. According to British media including the BBC

on the 18th of local time, nurse Lucy Letby (33) killed five boys and two girls while working in the neonatal unit at Countess Chester’s Hospital in England from June 2015 to June 2016. He pumped air into babies’ blood and stomachs, overfed and assaulted them, and poisoned them with insulin, mostly during the night shift. Among these were premature babies and twins, and one baby was killed the day after birth. When this act was upheld by the courts, Lucy Letby went down in history as the worst child serial killer in British modern history. The infant murder case came to the surface as a number of newborns died rapidly between 2015 and 2016, and the investigation began in 2017. During the hospital’s own investigation, medical staff found unusual bruises on the arms and legs of the dead newborns, but when they could not determine the cause of death, they called the police to investigate, and Lucy Letby was eventually identified as the culprit. After Letby’s arrest in 2018, handwritten notes were left at home admitting his crimes. The note read, “I killed babies on purpose. I’m not good enough to care for them. I’m a terrible, evil person.”

Prosecutors said, “Although Letby was a trusted nurse, she committed a crime in a way that caused repeated and various damage to the babies she cared for.”

Sentencing is scheduled for the 21st, but she clarified that Letby will not attend the trial afterward.
