The Samsung Lions added a precious one win with Koo Ja-wook’s home run in the top of the 11th inning.
Samsung defeated the Kiwoom Heroes 1-0 in the professional baseball 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League visiting game at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul on the 29th, continuing its four-game winning streak, including a sweep of three consecutive games during the week.
The only score of the game came in the top of the 11th inning of extra time in Samsung’s offense.
Koo Ja-wook, who appeared as the leadoff hitter in the top of the 11th inning with 0-0, drew a solo arch over the right wall by hitting Lee Myung-jong’s 124km/h changeup in a ball count of 2 balls and 2 strikes.
