Figure Lee Hae-in’s Appeal “I want to get rid of the sexual harasser…”I regret drinking and dating at the training camp”

Former female figure skater Lee Hae-in (19), who was suspended for three years for drinking and sexually harassing a minor junior during an overseas training camp, appealed, “I want to get rid of the false accusation of sexual harassment.”

Lee, who attended the re-deliberation of the Korea Sports Council’s Sports Fair Committee on the 29th, said, “I made a big mistake that I should never do as a national team member,” adding, “I regret why I went to a training camp and drank alcohol and dated, and I am reflecting on my mistakes every day.”
“However, I attended the reexamination with the hope that the stigma of being a minor molester will be corrected,” Lee said. “I just hope that the fact that I am a minor molester will be found to be untrue. That’s all.”

In addition, Lee said, “I want to live my life as a figure skater because I’ve done something so far, but I was so shocked and hurt when I saw an article published by the (Korean Skating) Federation,” adding, “All my family, including myself, had such a hard time.”

In addition to this, player Lee emphasized, “So I just hope that the article that I am a minor molester will be found to be untrue.”

Earlier, Lee was found to have drunk alcohol in his accommodation during the national figure skating training in Italy in May. Suspicions were raised later during the investigation by the Korean Skating Union that Lee committed sexual acts against a junior underage player.

The federation imposed a “three-year suspension” on Lee, and reprimanded underage player A, judging that his visit to Lee’s accommodation was a violation of reinforcement training regulations.

Later, Lee denied allegations of sexual harassment by minors, claiming that he was in a relationship with a junior player. 먹튀검증

At the time, player Lee issued a statement and said, “I thought (sexual behavior) was a prank or expression of affection between lovers,” adding, “I never imagined that even if we couldn’t reveal that we were dating, we would be misunderstood like this.”
